| Thanks, Casey! They force-fed me so that I wouldn't lose weight while undergoing treatment and they were meticulous about administering the meds. The trip was my reward for good behaviour and for taking everything in stride. :o3

| I know what you mean about the delicious food all through the holidays. My stomach was in heaven. But now, I am back to the "eat-the-dogfood-or-else-be-hungry" diet again. And my mom is tough..she really removes the bowl if I don't finish in 30 mins or so

| Christmas was awesome bec of food n stuff & NewYear ws uuhh.. i dnt know! im just inside d house watching tv coz im also afraid. But mommy is there to hug & greet me a happy newyear while everybody's bz watching fireworx.

| Boy, that's gonna be tough when you get heavier! Just tell your mom and dad not to make a big fuss when you're about to go down. Just tell them to act like there's nothing to worry about and soon enough you'll find the courage to go down on your own.

| Just read your blog about going up the stairs. Did you get down ok? I remember the first time I climbed our stairs, it took me forever to get down. Everything seemed so scary looking down from the top of the stairs...

| Both your mom and vet are right. We goldens need to be lean to avoid joint and other health problems. I am only eating a total of 2.5 cups a day on my Canidae plus some fresh fruit like apple or banana as a treat and I'm fine. Just be lean and sexy. :03

| You could try Canidae or Holistic Recipe. Neither one has corn as one of the ingredients which cause some tummy upsets and is not such a good protein source. Both use lamb meal and/or beef meal which is better for us beautiful goldens. That's my secret...
