I don't have any fur, but I still joined to the fight to stop the dog and cat fur trade! My mom has been really, really busy for the past 2 months. I guess you might have heard about the Humane Society testing 25 high fashion fur trimmed coats right before Christmas time - to discover they were either Raccoon Dog or domestic dog fur - and either not labeled - or labeled improperly. All the big name stores were involved - Macy's, Nordstrom's, etc. - J.C.Penney had their employees take the coats off the rack, cross out the fur contents on the label and then put the coats back on the rack and sell to consumers like that!
Mom's been busy on this issue ever since! She's been an activist in the fight to stop the dog and cat fur trade that inhumanely kills over 3,000,000 dogs and cats each year (5,400 daily in China alone) for the fur trade industry.
You can join the fight too by signing the petition and then contacting your Congressman to tell him you're against this inhumane and barbaric torture as well. There's a bill that has been introduced to the Congress (last year's attempt got stuck in a subcommittee) and we all want to see the loopholes closed and this horrible killing of dogs and cats (skinned alive) for their fur coats.

| Bravo Rogaine's Mom! There have also been cases of real fur being marketed as faux fur! Also there are some imported items marketed to cat lovers (like little statues) that have REAL cat fur on them. |
