Winter Walk

Sunday Dec 14, 2008 09:35:00 PM

Well tonight was interesting. You see my pack leader was going to go on a walk today sense it was about 40° outside but it RAINED! IT RAINED!!! Do you know how long it has been sense we’ve WALKED?!?! Out of all the days it could of rained, it had to rain on a 40° day. Oh and for those of you that don’t know, Mom’s rule is that if there’s no rain or wind and it’s 40° or up then there’s no excuse not to walk (after about 60-65° there‘s no excuse period). So in short, our walk day got wrecked. The good news is that after the rain stopped, and the sun went down my nutty pack leader decided that a walk was still on the menu! She thought that it was just to nice out not to go and enjoy it. Not to mention that the Christmas lights where all out. So as we’re walking around and enjoying the sights and smells it happened! There was this thing that was round and made noise and had this stuff that looked like snow blowing in it! It totally freaked me out! I was clinging to Mom’s leg for dear life! I should of known that, that wasn’t going to do me a lick bit of good. As soon as I did that she instantly made me lay down next to it and I wasn’t allowed to get up until I calmed down. At least she knew that it wasn’t going to hurt me. Once I calmed down and was allowed to move she told me that “blow up snow globes” aren’t dangerous. I feel better knowing that… cause they don’t look or sound friendly. ~Chasel
